Default Tail Light Removal

I'm usually not a dumb#@*," BUT i am now.I'm trying to remove my tail light on a 02, in the trunk there is a plastic "T" looking ,thing of a bob, that looks like it holds the tailight in and also the carpet lining . How do I get this thing loose ,pull on it or does it unscrew, don't want to break it?????

You unscrew it, then pull the liner forward, and there are for bolts holding your tail light into place. You'll need a ratchet.

None of that euro stuff for me. Installed Bilstein shocks and had to remove trunk liner and these "T" s was holding the carpet molding on.

you'll eventually pull all that liner crud out anyway. It just lessens the storage space for fuel cells and diff coolers and batteries and such. Or is that just me.

love my bilsteins. have em at all 4 corners wrapped up in MM coil overs.
