NEW NUMBERS!!!

Got the car on the dyno today. The cams and the intake manifold added 25 hp to the rear wheels. The car sounds and runs great. New videos to come soon!

Numbers seem kinda low for the mods.....

My buddies GT is making 272hp/302tq off 75mm TB/plenum, LT's, O/R X-pipe, CAI, magnaflow catback, and dynotune

Maybe its your altitude or something

nice numbers man! but jeez, I thought the 4.6 would make more than that with cams and an intake manifold.

With the typhoon manifold you have to clean it up yourself or its going to rob some power. I had one before and sold it to put back on my PI manifold for the 5.4l build.

You might see bigger gains putting the stock PI back on because those typhoons tend to have some flaws, arent of the best quality and they tend to heat soak really quickly.

Good gains for the mods though. Hope my info might shed some light.

what do you mean by heat soak?

The intake, because it is metal, get really hot and heats up the air before it enters the engine. Hot air bad, cold air good.

You should be making more tq. My auto with full bolt on's and a dyno tune was makeing 298rwtq. SAE corrected.

aggressive cams tend to reduce tq numbers. Looks like he's making exactly the same power at the wheels as a stock 99-01 cobra. Good work.

BTW, your AF is all hosered. You're dropping to 11.5:1 at mid-band which is costing you power and fuel. Have your tuner fix the 2-4K rpm fuel trims.

Those numbers are a little on the low side. Mine puts out 271/303 STD with full bolt ons.
