Default 2005 Times

Does anyone honestly know what the stock 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are for both the 4.0 V6 and 4.6l V8 (manual and automatics as well)?

well, I could bring in my crappy time slips and tell you what I ran it in my first time out, if that would help....wasn't the best but it was good enough for me.

Here you go....remember, this was my first and only time on the track, despite the whacking ThePunisher will give me for posting my times. I'll take care of him in the spring.

Gateway Int'l Raceway (10/14/05)
R/T .287
60' 2.545
1/8 9.632
1/4 14.645
mph 97.91

R/T .284
60' 2.278
1/8 9.364
1/4 14.638
mph 91.97

R/T .133
60' 2.649
1/8 10.747
1/4 16.354
mph 87.20 ( I pretty much gave up on this run since I was so outmatched by a Camaro SS)

Keep your tracking to a minimum...I don't want Jeff to run over my steed with his Jeep.

Replacing the factory tires will allow me to hit 13s. I might have a trick or six sitting in my basement.

Does your "trick" know how to drive? Or, is she not that kind of trick?

Well, they do in the mags anyway...professional drivers I am sure. Also, don't forget altitude corrections. At my track, we all run .5 seconds slower because we are at 1000 ft.

I not saying they can't. I think Ive seen a couple magazine tests claiming 13.9s, but yeah no doubt most are probably pro drivers. .5sec for 1000' is sumthing I did not know. Gateway where I run is at 413'.

My brother ran a 13.8 with manual transmission on a stock 2006 GT. Probably could have done better, he wasn't a very good driver then.
