Default 2nd time runnin the 1/4, best runs yet.

Made my best pass yet, tonight at Gateway. Best part was, I wasted this dude in a 96 Cobra.
Only got 2 runs in but I am very happy with my times. Track was busy and had to do lots of waiting. I did get to see a pro-modified car spin and smack the wall. That had to hurt. It caused about a hour delay.

1st run
R/T -.014 (redlighted)
60' 2.137
1/8 9.077/79.26
1/4 14.053/98.23

2nd run
R/T .119
60' 2.121
1/8 9.094/79.03
1/4 14.070/98.38

Cobra ran a 15.372, 2.356 60'
He had obnoxious exhaust, gauges a plenty, and everyones favorite, lots of stickers

Nice runs! I got there about 7:30 and they were out of tech cards
So I turned around and headed home, what a bummer. I had my rear seat and passenger seat out and was all ready to go 12.70's. It will have to wait until next spring now.

ALMOST into the 13s!

I need to get out there with this cooler weather and try taking my pass seat and rear seat out. Mabye I can yeild 13.20s with the weather and the seat combo. When I ran my 13.5 it was about 80 degrees.

You wouldnt had been able to make more than 2 runs tops if you had gotten in. One club member waited like 2 1/2 hours just make one pass between the tech and staging lane wait.

16 or 17 seconds I would guess. I have seen v6's with blowers running 13's. There is a turbo v6 somewhere running 10's.

blue02 was right on. 16.5 to 17 sec is what I see on the 3.8 boards for a pre99 V-6

Who's got the white one that works down there? The guy John has his black one that runs mid 6's in the 1/8th I think, but that was 4 months ago when we were down in huntsville, alabama.

That car looks like something out of the Roadwarrior. I have been welding pipes, yes, but not for the car.
