Spike_africe did it for me, basics are you drop the valve body and drill larger holes in the seperator plates to allow more fluid to flow and grab harder so its barks the tires and **** like a stick shift would.
#5
Mine does 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd in my auto.. Just from my tune though , it jerks the whole car like a manual- its pretty cool.
#11
Yeah, my tune makes it do the same thing. If you combine the j-mod and the tune, you get ridiculous results.

J-mod is good stuff on auto cars and its cheap to do too. You mod the valve body in the tranny to allow more fluid to flow faster to the bands and more fluid in general to flow so they do not slip as much and thus creates less heat and holds the band harder for a stronger tranny.
As for raising the line pressure in your tunes, I blew my first tranny in my F150 doing that. It makes the pump work hard trying to keep up with the depmand. I would raise it a bit but not much. I would rather mod the valve body.
Good times, you need to fix that exhaust leak to get some more power cause I know that's hurting you right now. I'm very surprized by the 60' times with stock convertor and gears you are getting 2.0xx 60' is good.

I know they are two different transmissions, i just was curious of this J mod and just was stating it sounded risky drilling bigger holes.
Yeah Spike, its not that firm of a shift.. I mean it'll chirp tires, but its nothing too hard. No one has ever blown a tranny from this on the 05+ GT yet, or atleast on my forums.. Im not worried, im at 27,300miles and i've had it on the same tune since 7,000.. I beat the **** out of it too.. It may never happen(knock on wood), or it may break along way down the road but for now, it is perfect and i have no problems.

How long does it take for you to get to OSW?
RetroGT: the J-mod came from the man who designed the tranny for Ford. He is a thunderbird guy and he is the one who told everyone about what you need to do to the tranny. Needless to say he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the 4r70w tranny.

ill call u next time mustang v6-04 and dustin my buddy and i undid the H pipe by the headers so they could slide down a little bit to get copper spray in there but it still didnt seal it up so im lost of what to do about it.

yea, the sct pretty much took care of my jerry modding.. but i must say, if you run at the track with a v6 with non-lsd, its really worse to bark going into 2nd, when i went it would completely lose traction and make my times suck..

it spins both bitch, just the left not as much as the right.. and if i do a doughnut to the right then the left leaves a very light mark.

Just needs a $40 rebuild kit from ebay and some of your time to rebuild it and make it tight again.
