Going to run a 5.0 cobra

No not a Fox body cobra. SN95 5.0 cobra not sure what year exactly as I don't follow cobras that far back honestly. He's a club buddy he's got a OR H pipe, catback, and I think headers. That's it though. Should be a fun little run. Honestly don't expect to win but I hope I can hang for a bit on the juice. I'll let you guys know what happens.

If that's all that's been done to the 5.0 you have a great shot at winning.I have some buddy's in 5.0's around here though that are just beast.

Yea he also owns a fox body saleen replica with a vortech, H/C/I and the entire MM catalog LOL. That fox is just nasty

There is a guy here in town with a 87 GT that shakes the ground when it goes bye the house.I raced him in my GT one time and it was'nt pretty lol

Cuban, you can beat him. Back when i had my 6er on juice, i let a friend drive mine while i drove my girls '94 cobra with full exhaust and he beat the cobra with my car twice. Dead stop and 1st gear roll, So you should be able to beat it on juice. Good luck tho.

Alright so here's how it went down.

60 miles per hour roll: Dead Neck and neck until about 105ish I ran out of gear and he pulled away.

Dig: Again neck and neck him pulling a fender by the top of my third.

Now what I did wrong LOL. Bottle pressure was about 850ish

I left the O/D on for both runs

Hopefully I'll run him again soon. Next week the 100 shot jets go in and my bottle heater gets delivered and installed. I think with some actualy decent pressure and me not having a huge brain fart I can take him pretty easily.

A bit more info on his car. He had long tubes, mid pipe, cat back, and some corbeau racing seats up front, and no stereo equipment. So he was probably a good bit lighter then me too. I just wish I had decent bottle pressure I think I could have hung bumper to bumper or maybe pulled a wheel or so. Oh well I'm happy.

YES, someone finally got back to us with some results.....most of time these threads are just a guessing game and noboby lets us know if they actually raced. Nice runs dude!

sounds like fun. I think you ought to take him next time. What gears do you have? 4.10's 3.73's, stock?
