Chris!!! Flat Spot on my 18x9s!!!
Chris,
I'm literally typing this from a computer at my tire shop. We pulled one of the 18x9s out of the box, and it has a flat spot on it!!
Can we do anything about this?
Thanks,
Fred

I cant help ya there holmes. Im on vacation. Give a call over to the office on Monday. I can give you the questions that Bob/Dave might ask you though.
1. Where is the flat spot? Is it on the lip?
2. If it is on the lip, what was the condition of the packaging that the wheel was in. Was the styrofoam ring cracked? Did the box look damaged?
3. Was the tire mounted on the rim?
Pictures always help in this situation. If its a manufacturers defect, then they can get a claim setup for this. If its due to UPS dropping the rim, then a claim with UPS will be started.

Its the outer lip, a tire will still seal, but it look like sh*t. I'm gonna post pics soon, I'll post one here of the damage.
The styrofoam was cracked, but I left them in the boxes till I got over to the tire place. The box looked like it had the normal amount of shipping wear, but both of the handle openings had been ripped out(cheap cardboard, rips really easy), so it might have been
I guess I'm hosed because I already had them mounted. I found a place here in Tucson that repairs wheels, gonna try to see if they can fix it.. :censored:
