Default Mustang Carbon Fiber Tail Lights and Smoked Mustang Headlights with Clear Corners

these are kinda expensive, but i am sure they will make my silver v6 1999 stang look good. so should i buy these or just go the cheep way and buy covers for my lights?

Those are the exact ind that I want. I'll probably get the carbon fiber tailligfhts, but only the ones with oval-shaped brake lights. I hate the ones with circular brake lights..too ricey. But as for the smoked headlights, they look sooooooooo much nicer than the 99-00 stang white headlights. Get the newer ones if you can

I like the stock ones you have but all the aftermarket ones dont fit perfect and tend to leak. Best thing to do is to seal the seams with silicon before you put them on. Im going to put on my rear stock ones back on and get smoked headlights and corners.

that site has the same exact ons as mustangtuning, an mustangtuning is cheeper! and has e shipping ovr a 50 dollar purchuse. anyways would the smoked headlights an carbond fiber tailights http://mustangtuning.com/mu99cafitali.html
http://mustangtuning.com/sm99hewiclco.html

be worth it for my stang? it would be about $370.00. i could go the cheep way and buy black tintid covers for my lights. but i think buying the actual lights would make my car so much cooler! so i am debating with what i should get, eithr a spoiler or my car ( because my stang has none) or these tail lights and healights. what should i get? also how hard would it be to install ths tail and head lights? thanks in advance

Ive seen those. Id just use the "nightshade" tint that comes in a rattle can. You can get it through summitracing.

I have the carbon fiber tail lights, the ones they sell here on MT with the 3 overlapping circle red lights.
I wanted something to get rid of all that damn red on my stang's ass, and i liked the dark interior on them so i ordered them

then i got worried they would be too ricy, but i already ordered em.

Lets jsut day if yer gonna install them you better not have the mach 1000 sound system. those subwoofers are right in the way, and the threads on the screws are so damn long that my socket set couldnt reach the bolts. It was a majort pain in the ass getting those subs out and replacing the lights. If you DO have the mach 1000, go buy some long throat sockets. save yourself a real headache.

I got the lights in and sat there long and hard to look at em and decide if i like them or if they looked too ricey. after all that effort i wanted to be damn sure i like em before i bolted everything back together.

In the end, they stayed in. I like the fact there is less red, also without those vertical lines the back end seems a bit wider and lower profile. I dont think they come across as very ricey, but i will have to be careful on any other appearance mods or my stang could very well go the way of the orient.

I'll try to get some pics of how they look put up on here.

my car came stock with the smoked headlights and i wouldn't have it any other way, I LOVE THEM! but I'm thinking about switching them out for the smoked headlights with clear corners instead of the yellow. anyone know where I can get smoked foglights?

Sure thing buddy. Check it out.

If the inside were any lighter it would be way too ricy. im still up in the air about em, i sorta like them but the clear outer shield collects too much light, i wish it was more like glass...

i know you said in an earlyer post, that you have the carbon fiber ones off of MT, but yours look alot lighter. maybe its the lighting.

I have the darker ones. The clear shield seems to collect a lot of light though, makes them look lighter

ya i agree with you, they do look lighter, but i bet thats mostly from the camera, in person and up close i bet they are darker. i still cant decide. i have a 1999 v6 silver stang. and i am going to get my windows tinted soon. so i cant decide if i should buy those tailights, or just get the tint stuff, and tint my tailights. if i get the tint stuff, then i can buy the smoked headlights. but if i get the tailights, i wont have enough cash to get the headlights. what do you think will look the best? i am open to suggestions!! i have done to my 99 silver v6, is a CAI from MT, and a Flowmaster force II dual muffler/exhaust system.

to a degree some of it is the camera, but not all of it.

if you can tint yer tail lights then i say go for that, i think it looks better.
better check with yer state laws on the subject though. Dont wanna do something that causes every cop in the state to try an pull you over.
