Default warranty question

Does any one know, if the the dealership has a way of finding out if a tuner like the Predator Tuner, had been installed in your vehicle, even after you tune your vehicle back to stock. Someone told me that there is a way to find out the history on your car's computer and that it will void your warranty. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Easy answer for this. No they can not. I have proof for it as well. I work on the side for some ford dealers. Udating there websites, and I had them check my car to see if the flash tuners will not allow for them to see modification to the computer. I installed the tune, a week later took it off and put the original tune back on.

They used the obdII computer and scaned it. No changes, were found.

So the answer is no they can not.

Steve is correct, just be sure to put the stock tune back on the car before taking it in. This si REALLY important. Not only for warrenty issues but you don't want them changing the tune either.
