I have a non roller block in my newly bought 89 Lx, how it got there i don't know. I would like to have roller lifters in order to open up a lot more options. Short of buying 400 dollar lifters with the bars on a pair (with push rod length cal calculation complications), I heard of an option where with light modification to the block I could retro fit a bracket with dog bones. Does anyone out there have any experince with this and if so give some details on what it requires. (welding, drilling, Ect?)
