Default Miles per gallon...???

Hi all. I'm a little worried. I am currently getting no more then 150-200 miles from a full tank of 87 ron gas! thats average 12mpg!! I have no real performance parts that should be over fueling....so where is it all going? I am currently set to 10 degrees timing and running 87 ron so any answers???

Take any suggestions or i'm gonna have to let her go!

Wow that sucks dude, i fill 91 oc and normally get about 240 miles per tank. assuming there is a gallon ro so left that means i pull about 17-18 in the city, and i have straights, before i had that done i averaged 260-290 per tank on city driving.

how are your driving habits? slow it down a bit and you might save some, or you might wanna get yer car checked out. that MPG yer getting is pathetic.

You might want to think about getting your stang tunned as you may be running rich and wasting gas.

Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator might be sending too much gas or maybe your engine is just worn or remove the lead from your foot. Let someone else drive it like your granma and see whats her mileage.

Well, i've just cleaned the MAF, fitted a cobra intake and will be fitting new O2 sensors tomorrow...lets see what happens....I'm hopefull

Wish me luck!

Default Traveled 200 miles and still had a quater of a tank left.

When hurrican Rita forced evacuation for Galvaston, Tx I had to drive the stang to Jewit, Tx wich is 200 plus miles and to my surprise I made it there and still had a quarter of a tank left. Thank god due to 93 octane runs on the average $3.05 a gallon. Your problem could be due to a tune up or maybe fuel filter, fuel reg., air filter or maybe all of the above.
