Yeah no doubt it will get worse if it is lower engine. Damage will be greater too because as bearing slides and tears, crank is gonna take some serious grinding grooves. Oil movement can also become inadequate, causing extensive damage, possibly even to the block. I wouldn't drive, I got pics of what spun bearings can do.

I thought I had a close-up of the crank with some ugly grooves and gouges in the main & rod journals, but I guess not. I'll be sure to get one. Anyway, those bearings are beat, and not all of them were that complete. Some were torn apart and I found chunks of bearing throughout the oilpan, including clogging up the oil pump pickup. This engine knocked loudly. The crank is beyond repair, I just hope the block and heads are OK. Still haven't had them magnafluxed yet. All new rotatings going in though for sure:tongueout:
