Ford rated the 95's at 215hp,,,and thats at the flywheel. I know for a fact that a stock GT,other than a K&N air filter did 187 to the rear wheels with a 5spd. I've had two of them and have had excellent luck with them. Currently I'm at 240 rwhp w/the mods in my sig. Sure, they are heavier than a pre94 car, but I enjoy them and have good luck with them. Both my 95's have NEVER left me stranded.

However, I will tell ya this: I may have 240hp, but after driving a stageIII Roush and riding in an 03 Cobra w/serious mods,,,my next motor WONT be naturally aspirated. Haaaa. :icon_thum

GT and 5.0 are the same cars. Mods for the 5.0s are cheaper than the 4.6s and plentiful. First cheap mod would be to remove air silencer, bump timing to 12-14*, K&N filter or similar. Next is a set of 3.73 gears, h-pipe, headers (Flows). Good luck. Peace

sorry but i beg to differ.. the sn95 style mustangs(94and 95 5.0) were different in alot of bery important ways making alot of the previous year 5.0 bolt ons and other performance parts null.. i've been doing some shopping and the pre 94 5.0s and the 4.6 motors seem to have aftrmkt parts readilly avail. and 15 to 20% cheaper.. but i agreee on the mods..

my 95 has cia, shorty headers, x-pipe flowmasters, timing adv, 3.73s and alot of suspension work. but she still needs more..
