i did it, all looks stock cuz its all one piece, and i couldnt see anything on the headers, other than the welds are beginning to come apart. xpipe is catted, and also looks stock.

thats the clue in 95 i dont think your car came with a x pipe. i think it just had a h pipe. that means its not stock!!

buy an offroad MAC H pipe... and a set of flowmasters... or borla... or whatever... listen to clips online...

youdontknow37 11-27-2006 06:30 PM

granted, that clip was taken with my hpone, it doesnt sound as bad in real life. im trying to work a deal with my friends dad where he will give me his side exhaust and side skirts for 100 so hopefully that will sound better. are longtubes too hard for the DIYer to install himself?

I doubt side exhaust will sound good... JMO

but for a 100 bucks you can't go wrong...

LTs are not too hard...

All you do is take off the manifolds and put on the headers.

You may need to take some other stuff off to get em to fit...

But its simple... take off... put back on... You don't need any special knowledge or tools...

It can be a PITA... and it may take a day... but I'd rather do it myself then pay someone
