Default is this how a stock 95 gt exhaust should sound?

ive been wondering about my exhaust since i got the car. i think that its stock, but its pretty loud for a stock exhaust, but havent really heard any other stock sn95 exhaust. anybody got any ideas? listen....

it is pretty loud look under the car and see if somebody changed it

i did it, all looks stock cuz its all one piece, and i couldnt see anything on the headers, other than the welds are beginning to come apart. xpipe is catted, and also looks stock.

thats the clue in 95 i dont think your car came with a x pipe. i think it just had a h pipe. that means its not stock!!

buy an offroad MAC H pipe... and a set of flowmasters... or borla... or whatever... listen to clips online...

granted, that clip was taken with my hpone, it doesnt sound as bad in real life. im trying to work a deal with my friends dad where he will give me his side exhaust and side skirts for 100 so hopefully that will sound better. are longtubes too hard for the DIYer to install himself?

I doubt side exhaust will sound good... JMO

but for a 100 bucks you can't go wrong...

LTs are not too hard...

All you do is take off the manifolds and put on the headers.

You may need to take some other stuff off to get em to fit...

But its simple... take off... put back on... You don't need any special knowledge or tools...

It can be a PITA... and it may take a day... but I'd rather do it myself then pay someone

it was on his 96 cobra and it sounded sweet, but ive never heard one on a 5.0

well like i said... a hundred bucks you really cant go wrong...

If worse comes to worse... swap a new set off muffs in it... ya'll make it work
