Default what to put in the 5.0L??

i am new to mustangs and i have a 88 GT and i added a cold air intake, underdrive pulley, flow master system, MSD starter, and rebulit the transmission making a smaler gear ratio.
i really don't know what else to do to increase performence?? i am use to rice-burners. So if I could get some more help i would appreciate it very much. thanks

never going back to rice-burners

I would get rid of the A/C and put a set of shorty headers (emmisions leagal), off road x or h pipe on get rid off the air pump ( if dont have to pass emmisions) Lower the thermastat to a 180 degree thermistat, electric fan ajustable fuel preasure regulator Change intake manifold bigger throtle body and rollor rocker arms

Get a good roller cam. .498 lift or a little bigger, im sure sure how big you can go with stock pistons...anyone know? mine has a .498 crane cam, thought im still building the motor. i switched a 93 EFI motor to carb, should be stronger. its pretty easy to install a cam. A nice cam with headers and h or x pipe and good mufflers, like flows would make your stang sound nice, and have the balls to match the sound, unlike most ricers i see on the street, which i have taken with my dead quiet crown victoria.

I have an e303 in my stang with crane 1.7 rockers and have no piston to valve clearence problems that works out to be .529 with 1.6 rockers. The e303 would be a nice choice for a mild bolt on motor
