WOW... an '82..

get a carb and some exhaust...

whats nice about your car is its a pre EFI mustang... meaning you dont have to worry about computers and custom tunes and that crap... not to mention aftermarket parts are considerably cheaper...

i would get full exhaust, then a carb and intake manifold at the same time...
then a cam...

i really dont think there are many "bolt ons" for em...

but have fun w/ her

Do full exhuast. I mean long tubes, h-pipe and mufflers. Then get some used heads and intake and a new cam and it will be fast. dont bother with bolt ons when your heads, cam and intake all hold you back.

Yeah, 3.73 gears, full exhaust(long tubes), edelbrock performer gap intake, 625 Speed Demon Carb. AFR 165 heads and E303 cam, 1.7 roller rockers from crane cam or scorpion(better) new lifters, pushrods, valve springs, march underdrive pulleys, msd plug wires, msd coil, better spark plugs, msd cap and rotor(or msd distributor)barry grant fuel pump, why not redtop optima battery, there....your pushing around 300 HP to the crank, give or take....well depends on the miles your motor has.
