One of my friends just bought a 98 3000GT base model, in automatic transmission and wants to race me..

From teh interwebz.....this is what I gather:

Engine: 3L 6cyl 12V SOHC
HP (wheels):161 @ 5500rpm
LB/FT: 185 @ 4000rpm
Curb weight: 3,131 lbs
Front wheel drive

It has about 90,000 miles on it, bone stock.

And then my car which is just a 00 3.8L V6 auto with an aftermarket CAI, and has about 48,500 miles on it.

So....what are my chances? I do know that if it was anything but the base model i'd definately lose, and maybe even if his was manual he may win, but since it's base, has less torque and FWD, do I have a decent chance?
