Well what do you expect me to say?....c6 z06's have been proven to run 11.7x's-11.5x's bonestock...running a 12.1 can only mean hes sorry.

PS: your response was a typical import owner response..;)

naw man, our 99-04 GT's have been ran 14 flat by motortrend bone stock and anyone who can run our cars 14.4 bone stock are pretty awesome drivers.

whats so funny about it? Most drivers arent professional drag racers and launching on street tires is a PITA. Motortrend ran 14 flat and a few others did 14.1 and 14.2 so it IS possible, but these guys launch cars for a living so I'd think they can run a car to its max potential. The z06 has been ran 11.7 from motortrend, so I see a 12.1 as a very good driver, just not a perfect launch.

its funny for the reason that mustangs vary so much in how their stock 1/4 times although im guessing since they are rwd most of the drivers very in skill as well. Im guessing thats another benefit in awd :beerchug:

I ran a 14.2 bone stock. First time at the track. Never raced before on a track.

impressive is that with a manual or auto

MattJ 02-05-2006 02:36 PM

I ran 13.9 with throttle body/plenum, sct xcal 2, and a k&n filter.

jacliff_3521 02-05-2006 03:44 PM

Manual. First run that day I didnt let any tire pressure out, and I think one tire was wet from trying to run around the box. My launch wasn't pretty. I wanted to just drive right out the gate. i went back to the pits and thought about it. I then dropped my stock tire pressure down to I think like 18psi in the rear and the next time I lauched at like 2500rpms.
