These clips are a few years old. In the first one, its hard to tell the time (my nephew was holding the camera), but it ran 11.7 @ 121.5. Traction was limited with the cold weather and 26" ET Streets. But I don't have that problem anymore since I switched over to 28" ET drags.

Now, with the full slicks and about 50 more rwhp, I'm now in the 11.30's @ 125-126

good numbers...the bottom end isn't strong enough for that kind of power is it?

not in stock form but it's all in the tune. Eventually at that power level something will give. I don't think he's concerned about that. Driving your way to low 11's says something about your willingness to endure catastrophic parts failure.

I'd be mighty shocked if he wasn't sporting a built bottom end.

The bottom end is stock and holding up fine (knock on wood). I have over 200 passes at the power level, so its durability has been proven to me.

There are others I've met that have passed the 500 rwhp mark with the stock shortblock. They had blower cams though, which may be my next mod.
