Lowering question/suggestion.
 

I have a 96 mustang and I wanna lower it. Should I just change the struts @ the same time that I lower it? Wouldn't that improve my handling alot more? Anybody have any good suggestions?

Yes on that old of a car changing the strut's and shock's would be a good idea.H&R sport's for the win!!!

yea my ford performance guy told me i should to that when i get the money, but my car is newish...and Won't be needing that for awhile...LT's and mid pipe i think are next...then maybe a rebuild...some more body work....

I'd suggest popping for bilsteins all the way around as far as shocks and struts go. They're a great performance dampner and they don't need to be adjusted to work perfectly.

As far as how you do it... Maximum Motorsports CC plates should make your list too. You'll be pulling negative camber you don't need or want if you don't put CC plates on. MM is the only CC plate I'd ever recommend. After that, decide how many times you want to tinker with the suspension and decide if a full coil-over package will suit your goals better, if so wait and get CO. If not, then H&R, Steeda, FRPP, Eibach are all decent springs. Sprangz has come out but I haven't seen enough people with them for long enough to trust them myself.

Done properly, with springs and shocks and struts and CC plates and a good alignment, your car will handle lots better than before. With coil over, you'll think you bought a new car.
