Brakes
I know I could find a lot of info just by simply googling this, but since this forum is completely dead, I figured I'd throw this out there for some discussion:
I have a 2001 3.8 V6, and also a 2003 Mach 1.
The Mach 1 has much better brakes, and so I want to upgrade my V6 to some 13" Cobra brakes as well.
My question is: Do I need the 03-04 Cobra master brake cylinder to take full advantage of the bigger brakes? If I don't get the Cobra master brake cylinder, will my performance be less than that of a Cobra/Mach?
I'd like to find out, because I found an 03 Cobra master brake cylinder for sale, and wasn't sure if I should get it for my V6, and eventual brake plans?

No, I had cobra front brakes on my 03 and it worked fine without. Do ur self a favor and buy the steel braided brake lines, it gives a solid pedal feel and well worth the $$. When I bought mine I think I got everything from www.latemodelrestoration.com
