Drive Shaft + Flowmaster = huh? Oh, and clutch squeakyness

Okay, so today I went to Mavis to get my routine tire rotation when I asked the guy to check to see what's making a squealing noise. (Previously went to Midas and they swore that it was my upper idler pulley, it wasn't, then it was my lower idler pulley and the guy broke the bolt in the tensioner arm so I was stuck paying for that shit too, didn't fix it)

Anyways, he said to me that my drive shaft is rubbing against my exhaust (flowmaster catback) and that it's wearing the drive shaft down. He also said I need new shocks and struts, but that's another story.

Anyone know anything about the drive shaft rubbing, or maybe can someone tell me WTF's wrong/broken that's making something squeal? I personally think it's something with my clutch, I'm almost inclined to take a video with some decent sound so you guys can hear it for yourself, but that won't be happening tonight.

sounds like the couplers got rotated and one is grinding against the ds. You should be able to easily identify a circumferential groove worn in it if that's the case. If it is grooved and it's grooved deeply, replace it immediately. It is unsafe.

If it's not grooved, then your problem is elsewhere.

Okay thanks. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I will give it a looksie.

Any idea what the possible clutch noise is?
