Spending $250
 

Finally ran into a bit of money, 250$. I already got springs, i know MM CC plates are around 180$ now, and i could do that. Oor i could put it towards a Windstar for 400$. If i did the CC plates i could also have the money to do a J-mod for my 4R70W. Would i feel the best difference on the CC plates and J-mod or the Windstar? I was gunna put it towards nitrous but of course my parents said i cant get that till im atleast 18...Because thats when my probation ends.(if i get another ticket i lose my liscence for 6 months, even though ive only had one) The J-mod i know costs around 50$ im assuming just for fluids, new filter, all the little bits and pieces id need. Anyways info appreciated. Also im open to suggestion for other mods.

look into gettin a camber bolt kit. The stock plates can only be adjusted so much to compensate the drop

I'm trying to offload my MM C/C plates. BRAND NEW I'll let them go for members here at 170 shipped.

J mod you need like 13 quarts of fluid, seperator plates, drill and bits, filter...so its going to cost a little more than 50 bucks. Fluid is probably 3-4 bucks a quart thats 80% of the budget.

Not bad, ill have to take a look see. Just gotta wait to get my recent fender bender fixed and ill be able to spend. Btw anyone know how the hell to remove these?

I mean the actual bezel, and i dont think it unscrews, i would think it just pops up. Cause theres no way i could unscrew the bezel without shredding it with pliers.

If you can't get your car aligned properly without the c/c plates that would be the first thing I would buy. If you can align the car to spec, don't worry about them, not EVERY lowered car has to have aftermarket c/c plates.

if you NEED cc plates to align the car then your frame is bent or the k-member has shifted to one side or the other. It's pretty easy to tell which happened. You can see the k-member mounting bolts behind the tires. The k-member can slide underneath it in front end collisions and they NEVER square it to the chassis again cause they're retarded fuggin messican labor and never actually learned collision repair, they learned painting and wrench turning from juan in TJ before they hopped the border.

I wouldn't mind having something like those, but in black. I want metal black door pins too, not plastic shit. LOL I have been searching, but bad luck.

no, if you can't get an alignment anywhere near spec (THIS ONLY APPLIES at stock ride height) without CC plates that says something is off on the front end.

If your car is lowered then yeah, you'll want CC plates pretty much anyway so you can get a decent alignment. Some cars get away without them but if your car is lowered, then get a set of MM's plates and save the hassle of paying for a shitty alignment then paying again for a good one.

I only recommend Maximum Motorsports CC plates.

I just took these pics now. The hardware is in a bag that is in a box in the trunk of the mustang. These are brand new just been sitting for a long while.

When I lowered my car I thought I needed camber/caster plates. Then I did my alignment and I was well within spec. However I am only about 1" lower all around.
