3.73 or 4.10
So i got recomened into buying gears, ive read reviews about both gears, of course ill buy the posi also but i wanted to know peoples thoughts about what one to go for...
my car is a 03 v6 (AUTO) I use my car as an everyday driver, roughly 25 highway miles a day. 4-5 days a week. I have a c.b exhaust, vap intake kit, demon coils, live wires, ngk sparks .. if any of thease make a difference thanks. |

If you are spending the money, get every bit of it. Get 4.10's you don't have to shift anyhow the car does it for you. You will be super happy with them.
|
4.10's definetly, go big or go home.
|
does anyone have them in there car, pref. an automatic ? or is it just a word of mouth kind of thing, not trying to sound like a dick but its my everyday driver so im trying to get all the info first before i make up my mind. im a worrie wort.
|
I never had mine installed but a good friend of mine has them in his 2000 auto and those things are badass, I've ridden in it many times and i had no complaints, the highway driving was still good and the torque was amazing compared to stock 3.27s
And the posi is a must if u go with gears, my friend tried to do the cheap thing at first and only go with gears.. Needless to say he bought the tlok shortly after |
the only complaint i have ever seen about them is high rpms on the high way
|
I have had 4.10's in an auto and its fine. The whole higher rpms deal at highway speeds is not that bad at all. I went from 3.08's to 4.10's in my F150 with a 2v 4.6 and it was a fantastic improvement.

ok thanks for all ur help
