Mac 2.5 exhaust

Hello, i know i have posted alot in these past days:( but im just trying to get some questions answered. I asked about the jegs exhaust and people said its not real loud, and someone mentioned MAC. So i did some reserch and im pretty sure this is what im going with. I just want to know if any that has/had it was it an easy install? Was there anything that you needed to get for it? Thanks

yep thats pretty much the only key thing, otherwise it's just a basic exhaust install, unbolt old one, either cut or get real creative to pull out the stock exhaust, then installing the new one is a breeze since it is multiple pieces.

Macs a good brand. Don't have any personal experience with jegs

I have the catback. Nice sound but not too loud/raspy. It's a good setup I def recommend it. Better than jegs in my opinion. Most shops are familiar with MAC too and like it just the same. Check the hangers regularly tho mine broke after awhile. And thats with the hanger install kit from AM

I worked for a mac dealer for years and installed many of their systems. They are certainly well built kits and are not too quiet. The best part is that they finally went to stainless for the tips. Also, years ago a engine dyno test was done in a mustang magazine between basically all popular aftermarket mufflers. The ever popular Flowmaster was the second lowest on power. The mac Flowpath was second highest. It was only beaten out by the Borla XR-1 by less than half a horsepower. Considering the fact that the Borlas cost 100 a piece back then and the Macs were around 65, it was clear what the best choice was.

so the bolt-on kit that has everything does not have the hangrs for the pass side exhaust? That is good to know. I looked at the others, and most of them talk about cutting and welding so MAC is the way to go.
