Muffler Swap?

Well I have been thinking about this from about the last part of November - I can't seem to make up my mind.

Here is what I am thinking. My car as it sets has a custom h-pipe with the 4 factory converters on it - and while I wished I lived in a part of the country that doesn't have emissions testing I don't. Even though the test is just the plug in port, no inspection or any type of smog. I just don't want to mess with it until at which time the power level comes to that point. Right now it also has a pair of 40 series Flows on it and while I like them at idle and cruising it is not as loud as I wanted it. I am thinking of cutting the 40s off and putting on 10 series one chambers but I am not sure. I think they only come in the 2.5" version so I might have to change the pipe size or adapt the 2.25 into the 2.5 and run 2.5 inch tails.

I can't find a video on youtube or anything. How much louder would it be? I still want the Flowmaster tone (IMO it is the only sound for a v6).

What do you think>

just make it louder by getting a o/r h pipe

i havent heard of 10 series.. id prob keep what u got,, becuz v6s get raspy when you cut their cats off.. and then i have one flow 40 in place of the stock exhaust and it sounds plenty good to me with my CAI... it could be louder but right now ppl mistake it for a GT but thats people who dont know mustangs well, they always say, whats it got a 5.0 haha,, i have to laugh.. but im unsure until i hear the 10's.

Wouldn't an off road h pipe cause problems with emissions testing? I have a neighbor with a gt that just got one put on and I was wandering if she'll get screwed when it comes time for her inspection. It's a loud mfer now, that's for sure.
