tb spacer

Does anybody know if a throttle body spacer will fit with an aftermarket intake?
fyi i have an 07 with a bbk intake

also off subject: i ran the defroster for the first time a little bit ago and now there's a loud clicking noise for a few seconds whenever i start up. anything i can do besides take it in to the shop?

i have an 02 mustang, im gonna be getting cold air soon, and im wantin to get a TB spacer. BUT im also wondering the same thing! becuz the CAI wont be flexibile so i didnt think it would work either.

yeah thats exactly what i was thinking

don't buy it!!
They do absolutely nothing! It has been discussed by multiple V6 owners; and I am sure dyno proven if you spend enough time researching. Spend your money on something better. The most beneficial would be a set of gears and a tune, it would truly wake your ride up some. Also if that is out of the price range and your car is a standard get a short shifter, at least that will make the drive more enjoyable. That or maybe some underdrive pulleys.

also the spacer that works, that is not an tb spacer is the intake spacer. It is a spacer that goes between your upper and lower intake manifolds. I know there are kits for the 94-04 stangs, but not sure they are out for the 05+ stangs.

yeah, see the thing were wondering is, IF the the spacer will work with a CAI attached. becuz it will add an inch or so and the CAI isnt flexible like facrtory breather, i want the CAI just for the sound. which it will be in tomorrow.

yeah I know you were wondering that. i used to have a V6 and have a good understanding of what mods work and what mods don't. If I recall to get the TB spacer on there with the CAI you just have to push the rubber boots to their maxiumum, so there is little to no flex left between where the cai attaches to the tb.

But I am also telling you, don't buy the tb spacer, or a tb. It is a completely worthless mod that will show no benefit on any level other then being a waste of money. Also I say no to TB's because they also show no gain since one your cars motor doesn't pull in/need that much air flow, nor is your upper intake ported to match the size of the larger/after market tb, thus resulting in more disturbed air flow, and being pointless.

i bought the thorttle body and felt a slight different but dont buy the TB spacer. Buy the intake manifold spacer (if they have them for ur year). I bought a intake manifold spacer and felt a difference in high rpm.
