what kinda of gas do you use?

With gas prices the way they are, I was just wondering which company you guys think has the best gas? Even if you are tuned for a higher octane. I have a tendency to go to Chevron alot.....seems to be cleaner than most. BP is good too, but always more expensive....

Mr. Zip 09-04-2008 09:04 PM

I dunno. I buy at Sam's Club. They have the cheapest here : D

PColav6 09-04-2008 09:27 PM

The cheapest shit I can find

I'm probably directly funding terrorism or something in some south american country.

SnTBakosFinest 09-04-2008 09:34 PM

I try to stay with American fuel.. not a company that imports...

Flying J 99% of the time..

And if I really have to Valero or Arco..

King 09-04-2008 10:48 PM

I go to Shell stations. A little more expensive, but worth it in my mind.

doobie 09-05-2008 05:05 AM

i notice i get worse mileage from some stations like meijer. i usually go to shell/thorntons/BP depending on which of them has the best price.

Crimsonred02 09-05-2008 06:01 AM

Usually Chevron, because it has Techron and that is simply smarter.

3.8LMustang 09-05-2008 06:58 AM

I go to Valero

always use 93 octane and its about 3.69 a gallon right now but its 3.66 a gallon if i use a valero card :D

stangcharger 09-05-2008 07:48 AM

where ever has 100% gas. ethanol can kiss my ass. it will never touch my mustangs tank.

3.8for the win 09-05-2008 10:07 AM

hess!!

Ghostalker 09-05-2008 10:56 AM

Sunoco, because I worked there and it is 100% american. Now it is being rebuilt, so I go to the new (huge) shell station in town... its nice.

Redrum 09-05-2008 11:26 AM

I use citco or Exxon for the most part I go to citco cheaper its $3.30:D

Steeda97 09-05-2008 11:28 AM

I don't think theres a gas station around here that doesn't have ethanol in it. I usually go to Major, or Shell.

Randy Stinchcomb 09-05-2008 11:36 AM

I use either Sunoco or Shell, just filled my truck up today wth 87 regular Sunoco and paid $3.47 a gal

SnTBakosFinest 09-05-2008 12:40 PM

87 is still like..3.85 here... maybe its gone down..but I fill up with 91.. most of the time if i've got a full nitrous bottle..

King 09-05-2008 01:31 PM

I wish I had a Sunoco station near by, I like their fuel too. But the closest place to get any is at the drag strip almost 50 miles away. The Shell station is a couple blocks down the road.

man im jealous its about 3.66 up here

spike_africa 09-05-2008 08:19 PM

I'm a BP,sunoco, exxon ,chevron guy. But i mostly go to the Racetrack one as its the cheapest lately.

Leonide 09-05-2008 09:45 PM

i go to Shell, Speedway, or BP. and i tend to use 89 octane, because i am tuned for that.

01FR500 09-06-2008 10:36 AM

I just won't use Wal-mart/Murphy Oil, Sam's, or any of thoes station infront of the grocery stores. I normally use Shell or Exxon. I'd like to have some Sunoco stations around here, that would be 1st pick.

nocompetition04 09-06-2008 11:16 AM

Chevron cuz it's the cheapest :o

3.8LMustang 09-06-2008 08:17 PM

haha at the last time shell came out in our local news saying that it had only 10% gas n 90% water, lmao, thats y i never put gas in those kiind of stations

King 09-06-2008 11:23 PM

Either you need to check your ears/eyes, or they were lying. Car can't run on that 90% water.

BTW, try lighting a 10:90 gas:water combo with a blowtorch and tell me how that goes.

susheelover 09-07-2008 03:57 AM

Maybe a good reason

I actually talked to a Chevron gas truck driver and he said that Chevron only transports gasoline in it's tanks, and that other companies also transport, other fuels in theirs to save trans costs.i.e. kerosene, ethanol, etc. He siad that there can be residuals in o9ther tanks....but who knows for sure.
I think Chevron runs a little cleaner too.
