How's the battery? Check the grounds to see if any are loose and check for corrosion as well.

cantgetlikeme 11-22-2007 07:19 AM

ok i jus checked the battery and i cleaned every thing even where the grounds come to battery i snaped the connecters apart and there was sum slimy green stuff in them but still no change.... i dont have the money to put it in the shop right now but im havin no luck at findin out what is wrong

Welp, you need fuel, spark, and air. How do you know that you are getting fuel to the injectors, though. One bad sensor somewhere and nothing is going to work.

Take a long, flat-head screwdriver and put the tip on top of one of the fuel injectors. Then, place your ear on a handle and listen to the injectors while someone is cranking the motor. You should hear the "tap, tap, tap....." of the injectors pulsing. If you do not, then NO fuel..

If the injectors are not running, then I would suspect either a bad ground or a faulty computer. It would unlikely that all the injectors would all go bad. Odds are, you have a bad computer or a bad wire someplace.

I was also have the battery load-tested. A poor battery can cause all sorts of problems. It is free to have it tested, so I would just pull it and take it somewhere.

BTW, why did you replace the crank sensor? That makes me suspicious.

cantgetlikeme 11-22-2007 07:55 AM

b\c i thought that was the problem with it, and i have also tryed jumpin the car off my dads f 450 b\c i was thinking the battery might be weak but still no change i have a 5.0 i can drop in it but its out of a f150 if i get tired of messen with the six

cantgetlikeme 11-28-2007 01:25 PM

well today i was outside messin around with the stang and it sounded like it about started but then smoke came out of my intake has anyone seen anything like that?

mysteed 11-28-2007 10:29 PM

Have you messed with the coilpack or sparkplug wires lately?

cantgetlikeme 11-29-2007 06:39 AM

yeah i have i made sure i put them in the right firing order... but hell this mornin i didnt have to work so i devoted the day to the stang and hell i got it to start not once but twice but each time it stalled bak out
