'07 V6 Mustang

Hello there, I bought a mustang about two weeks ago and I am enjoying it everytime i drive it. I recently purchased a cold air intake for my car and after driving it for a while the engine light came on. Has anyone encountered this before? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

05+ stang's need a tune with air intakes

So I'll have to take it to a shop to get it tuned so that engine light will turn off then?

just buy a sct or diablo tuner and it will get rid of it plus some extra hp

Dave04Mustang 10-02-2007 02:36 PM

yea you can get any handheld tuner like cheddar said

I'd still have someone professionally do it.

Agreed. I called the seller and they recently found out that even though the site says "no tuning required" that only applies to the '05 V6. the '06's and '07's do require tuning.

The shop just figured that out....? Damn might be time to look for a new shop. It's been like that since the 2005 model

You dont need a professional tuner guy to fix your problem.
