Cam..

i was thinking about getting a cam, can anyone tell me the affects, right now I only have a catback exhaust, i dont want to get a hpipe cause of emissions, so i was thinking maybe a Cam would be just as effective, and better for the performance and sound part, but some people who i talked say i should only get a cam after I complete with the fullbolt ons .. would just i see much hp difference even tho i only have a catback, or im only going to see a real difference if I get other mods to complement it .. also how much you think the install for it is, like an idea maybe $300? .. k thanks

you need to upgrade the exhaust before you do a cam on your car sadly.

comp cams has 4 different cams to choose from. I just ordered mine from them.

Comp cams over the shelf cams < custom ground cam

Oh and if you're worried about swapping exhausts you are not a condidate for a cam swap.

Oh and a H-pipe in and of itself will not cause you to fail a smog inspection. An off-road mid pipe that could be either an H or X pipe or straight pipes for that matter will.

Oh and no install should and probably will be more then $300.
