3.73 gears or 4.10
 
what would be more preferred 3.73 gears or the 4.10 i know it sounds like an idiotic question but i was just curious.

if you have a manual 3.73 if you have an auto 4.10's ; that is usually what most people do.

it depends on the car. what do you want to do with the car? are you taking it to the track or is it a road warrior? are you planning on adding boost or nitrous down the road? There is no single correct answer to what gear you should go with. Give us some more info to work with.

yes, but most people with sixers never take them to an extreme level(supercharger, turbo, etc.), and using what i said above as a guide is generally good enough.

true, but then you need an 8.8 rear end from a GT, sadly no one makes the 3.90 gear for the 7.5 in our sixers.

your kidding me i was going to get them b/c its in the middle. i do in town drivin on weekdays and lots of highway on weekends owell.

yeah i know it sucks, it would be much nicer to have that inbetween option.
