i heard someone say in another forum running 93 will give you better times how true is that is it even signifigant to pumpin 87

Without a tune... Highly doubt it.. Might be wrong, but the if the car isn't tuned for 93 it probably won't run as well as it would on 87.

they are full of crap. unless you have a performance tune that requires high oc, just use what they reccommend. should be 87 oc.

the only way the higher oc will give you faster times is by lessinging the weight of your wallet. lol

Thing is, there are so many factors that affect times including the weather. People just like to think they see an improvement because it makes them feel better.

The only way you will see more hp with an octane improvement on a dyno is if the tune favored the higher octane in the first place.
