i would guess between 175 and 300. just depends on the shop labor, but don't expect it to be cheap.

also do you have an auto or manual? and what year stang?

a guy in the club here got his gears install for 300, including the gears... so i'd say 150...

Install kit - 36
Motive 3.90s - 175
install - 80
----------------
total - 291

however, i work for a dealership, so all my work is side-jobs with the mechanics.

alright, well then i hope you know you will also need some sort of tuner, Xcal 2 seems to be highly recomended to correct your speedo.

Gears-$150
Install Kit - $75
Tuner- $380
Install - $150-250, truly just depends, call around to some shops and see what they might charge.

total- $755-855; just depends on install.

do the 4.10s change the speedometer reading because my car is saying im goin faster than i actually am it was fine but i did the exhaust and gears at the same time and i know the exhaust didnt do it so is it the gears or a coincidence

mustangvsix 01-13-2007 03:47 PM

the gears are what causes your instrumentation to be off.
