Alright there is a mustang on ebay a 96 black v6 with 19900 miles on it with a buy now price of 5,000. But ill have to have my parents loan me 1k cause im only 15 and been working 6 months. Should i just wait or Buy it.

wow that is almost no miles . . .

only thing is i would feel bad doing a split port swap on a car with that low miles :(

cold 12-23-2006 10:41 PM

oh by the way its a stick. hope fully my dad can teach me how to drive a stick(he had a8 second camaro). split port swap??

Teal_Beast 12-24-2006 07:28 AM

yea . . . see the 94-98 v6 mustangs were "single port" and the 99-04 style v6's were "split port" the split port came with about 50 more hp stock then the single port. So what manny people do (including myself) is either swap in a 99-04 engine, or swap in the heads/intakes from a 99-04 engine to get some easy power and a better starting platform.

Although it really all depends on what you are wanting to do with the car, how serious you will be on modding it.

94-98 = 145hp
99-04 = 193hp

Manual is fine.

Wow, that is a heck of a deal. Almost makes you wander what's wrong with it:confused:

i see what your saying about split port. And yeah kinda is weird the price is cheap and miles are extremely low gonna email the guy for more pictures of it . but for modding probly put just rims on it cause i dont plan on keeping it long want to get a 99-04 mustang after i turn 18 so if any mods they will be light.

Looks like a good car.

Since he said it wasn't in showroom like appearance, you could definintely get it professionally detailed if you don't have the tools.

Just have the outside polished (swirl-free) and then a nice coat of wax. Shouldn't be more than $100-125 for just the paint correction. I'm sure you can clean and shine wheels/tires. If you did this, that car would look amazing.

yeah "if" i get it it would be nice with low miles.
