Tailight and Headlight Tint/Covers

i really want to make my lights on my 99 v6 silver stang, look good. i am going to get my windows tinted pretty soon, ( yes its illegll in my state, but it looks 10000000 times better) so i am looking at tiinting my tailights. i really dont want to sped a couple 100 for tailights and headlights, so i am looking to buy tint. probably from this site http://www.autobadges.com/vinyldecals/ and i like the blackout tail/head light tint, but will this be hardto install and look to cheep? also will it be hard to get all the air bubbles out and will it ever look perfect? like the pictures on that site? thanks in advance!

man, imo, save ur money and nuy the lights. cuz im not real sure how well tint will handle weather conditions. im personally getting the smoked headlights for my 04. mine, however is dark charcoal grey. and yea tinted windows do look bad a**. ive got 5% int the rears and 15% on the doors. not exactly legal.

Some states are legal for headlight and tailight covers. Check you local laws. Hate for you to get pulled over for those.

Don't tint your tail lights!

This has always amazed me.....if you get in an accident where someone rear ends you....in other words, its not your fault, with tinted tail lights it IS YOUR FAULT, and they will take you to court and win everytime. Why endanger getting sued? It is seriously not worth it.

That's a pretty good point you make there.

The only way to do this is to have two sets of tail lights. One for shows and one for driving.

Check the laws.........If you do, don't plan on going on a military base....they won't allow you on......
