about torque converter

i have a 2002 v6 and i want to buy a torque converter for it but i don't know what to get im kind going for a faster 0-60 so if anyone can give me an advice.

yeah... leave your stock on in and get 4.10's in the rear end.

are 4.10s really THAt much worse for highway driving than 3.73s? like 70% of my driving is highway (60mi everyday :ohsnap: ) and im still tryin to make the decision on what ratio to put in my v6

not enough difference to care much about. Your rpms will be up a bit but not enough to really matter.

so where do i find the torque converter? any ideas?

r3dn3ck 10-31-2006 04:22 PM

uhhh... in the front of the transmission, connected to the back of the engine. Just a guess. Unless I totally misunderstood your last question, in which case, sorry and please rephrase.

well if your looking at getting one I wouldnt spend too much on a fancy one your not making nearly enough power to break one. So look on summit or Jegs.

And I wouldnt install one if you dont know where it is to begin with you'll probably end up fudging up the tranny.
