New Clutch Help
Hey guys,
Question time again. I just put bullitt wheels on my car, obviously thse have muth wider rubber than my originals and therefore take more power to get the car moving. I'm pretty worried because I think they may have exposed something wrong with my car. I can't tell for sure but I get the impression my clutch slips when i put my foot down. I'm on 80000 miles...would that be reasonable for my clutch to be going now? How big a job is it to get a new one? I see the prices for whole kits but can you just buy the plates? Thanks a lot folks! |
How big are your rear tires? when I first got them on it took a little while to get used to the added weight of the wheel, but somehow i think the car gets used to it...Mine feels better now then before because i know I can plant the power I need when I need it...esspecially in the rain ... give it some time, 80,000 miles on a manual clutch, i'm sure it's def. possible for it to be going out, also kinda depends on how ur driving...
