Saleens

ok for those of you who have 18 x 9 saleens...

i know this has been asked plenty of times but what tire size would be best for the 18x9 saleens i am getting...

-255/35z/18
-265/35z/18
-275/35z/18

and i am putting them all around and i dont drag or anything so they dont need to be huge but i want more traction and a bigger tire than i have now...225/55/16

and whats a good brand to get...i am looking at the pirelli pzero but i dont know if they will last long or not...i really only want to spend 200 or below for each tire

i have 18x9 saleens all around and my tires are Kumho Ecsta MX's...my front size is 245/40/18 and my rears are 275/35/18 ...i really feel that this is the best combo that i could have purchased!! Not too big, not too small, but just right. :beerchug:

275 all around

just like thats been recommended for the previous one hundred and fifteen threads before yours asking the same exact question.

yes i know but will it rub when i get my eibach prokit?

and does anyone know where a step by step instruction manual can be found to put on eibachs or any springs on a v6?

and if i got say 265 would that be a better fit?

265's would look good too.

Couldn't tell you, I haven't got the rims yet and I probably won't order the tires until March... but I'll tell you this much, I trust Lance =) Go for it buddy, go for the 265's :punk:

i have the eibach sport line springs and 275/35/18's all around and i have no problem at all with rubbing. I have the hancook ventus tires and i love them there tread wear is great and the tread design looks good.

would u happen to have any pictures of your wheel turn? or clearance of the wheels...or could u take pics of it

Milos 01-25-2006 01:29 PM

well I mean if you're dropped and you got large rims, like saleens, you're gonna rub but its only a matter of how much... the bigger the tire the more its gonna rub against the fender when you lock the wheel.... but its only rubber :pepper:

Lances03SVT 01-25-2006 01:47 PM

You will be fine with the 265's.

Milos 01-25-2006 02:58 PM

I don't know this man but I trust his figures.. so thats why I'm going with the 265/35's

Lances03SVT 01-25-2006 03:06 PM

I will take pic's of my front's soon and post them for you guy's.
