What tires should I consider

Hey guys new member here, I was hoping to get some info on different brands of tires that you guys might recommend. I have an 03 GT which is pretty much stock except for Flows and I removed the silencer off my intake.

The stock goodyears are trashed after 30K and I hated them to whole time. winter is coming up so i got some winter tires..(dunlop wintersport m3's, ill keep you up to date how they do). Ill need some new rubber in the spring though and was wondering people's opinons on whats out there and what to avoid. I would hope to not spend more that 150-175 per tire.

Thanks in advance

ive got pirelli pzero nero m+s and they are all season high performance tires. i got em for 560. they are pretty good in snow, and great on the street and track. they really turn sticky in the hot days at the strip, almost comparible to street radials. deffinetly a tire to consider.

let me know how those Dunlop's are!!! I'm very close to ordering some for the winter myself. Also, there is a "Tire Talk" forum here, might wanna check that out. A GREAT tire is the Kumho MX tho, pure max performance summer tire. Would work well with your mods also, and relatively cheap!

tire update.....

I know this the wrong forum, but i wanted to update this post,,,well ive gone through my first wintery day(4 inches overnite) with my dunlop wintersport m3 tires....man let me tell you....i wasnt worried at all, handling in the snow was great, i had no problems at all, i just made sure i started in second gear on take off...now i live in michigan so we do get a fair amount of snow, but this winter(first for my stang cause my beater truck died) shouldbe no problem with these tires..i highy recommend them, wet traction is great as well...the tread on these tires is very aggressive and the chew throught the snow and blow through the rain......

Man i need those for this winter! You make it sound like it drives like a jeep. My car slides around like an icecube in the snow :(

I like those new BFG KDW's the tread is great

Those KDW's are nice, but i dont think theyre meant for winter. I have a set of the Dunlop Winter Sport M3's also, I havent been able to try them in snow yet, but in rain they're awesome. I would rate them about 9 maybe even a 10. They also look good for a winter tire!

They better be good in the snow with as much as I paid for them! But I kept my all-season performance last winter, phew... I would never do that again.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm kinda excited for the first time I can drive the stang in the snow, haha!
