what do you guys think

i have an 02 v6 mustang since i dont have a gt (and its an automatic) figured i mite as well just make my car purty and sound good and i guess a good place to start is to get some new rims and tires. for rims i was thinking:
for the front: http://www.americanmuscle.com/chromesaleen.html
and for the rear: http://www.americanmuscle.com/chromesaleen1.html
would these look good on my mineral grey car. Do you think they would look better black. what would you recommend for tires. i want tires that are going to last but are low profile. im only 16 and make minimun wage so i would prefur that last me a long time even after a brake stand or 2 lol:flamed:

SUMITOMOS. and those are gorgeous!

those are good rims. Cheap tires won't last as long as the more expensive ones obviously so thats your call on how much you want to spend. Also base it off of your location and the weather you have since I'm sure its your daily driver. The rims are a good choice but it will be more expensive going 18x10 in the rear since you will need a larger tire. If your going based off looks and price I would just get the 18x9 rims (or even the 17x9 saleens) all the way around with 265/35/18 tire for 18x9 all around or 275/40/17 for a 17x9 all the way around

i dont mind spending a ton on them if they look good and are gonna last

I would recommend Michelin Pilot sport A/S tires then. GREAT all-season tires and do good in the winter as long as your driving smart. Still have them on my stang. Can't remember exactly how many miles I had on the car when I put them on probably close to 20,xxx miles and I'm at 44,xxx now and still have plenty of tread life left. Haven't done any burn outs with them though. Won't buy them again only because I'm in Texas now instead of Chicago and upper Michigan so I don't have to deal with snow anymore. A 275/40/17 runs about 230 a tire but well worth it IMO if you want something that will last you for a while and does pretty well in snow. (but you still have to remember the mustang blows in snow anyway)

rims were the first mod I did to my 6er. followed by many more. now not many people can tell its a v6 by looking at it

yeah they didn't plow for shit where I went to college in Michigan so if the stang/tires survived 2 years of that it can survive anything. Thankfully I don't deal with that anymore though haha
