Bad Tire?

Hello all, I was just wondering if someone might know what is causing my drivers side front tire to wear weird. On the inside of the tire, it is wearing nots all the way around the tire. This is the only tire that is doing this. The tires only have about four thousand miles on them. The tires that i am running on my car are goodyear eagal F1 D3's front size is 255/40/17 on a 9 inch rim. The car has been lowered, however it did this before it was lowered.

I thought it might be the alignment but others in the area think that it could be my shocks and struts. The tires in the front are a little stretched on the nine inch rim so I thought this also could be the reason. Anyhow, tires are too expensive to be going through them every 4 thousand miles. I think i am going to have it aligned and of course new tires put on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

had the same problem with my sn95. its alignment. i had both tires goin though. i didnt wanna change them either and ended up wearin them down to the wire. got my alignment and was set for another long time. wear was goin good and i ended up sellin the car little down the road. by the time i sold it the tires were worn corectly.

if its not ur alignment i havnt got a clue.

best the luck

I'll take the tire back off tomorrow and I'll take a pic of it and post in the p.m.
