You should be fine.

if it rubs, itll be on the quad shock or your catback

get control arms and get rid of the quad shocks. its there to help prevent wheel hop and if you have aftermarket control arms, itll fix a lot of that problem too.

and no rubbing issues? you think 315's will be fine?

Alot of people run 315's with no problem's.Hell if I can get them on my Cobra you should be able to on your GT.

I run 315's with no rubbing. I have the Bullet suspension which is a bit higher then yours, but you should be fine.

You're going to get a lot of grip with that wide a tire, is the rest of your drive train ready for that? Also, you might want to weld in your boxes, and add subframe bracing to start with.

If the tires rub on tha quad then you can turn it 180 degrees and that should give your tires a bit more room, and yeah 315's and stock clutch's dont mix lol

zigzaggthefag321 04-23-2007 08:47 PM

I run 315's with H&R Race springs and have no rubbing at all. even when I still had the quad's on.

Ive not heard of 315 tires having too much grip for a stock clutch. I do have my TQ boxes welded and SFC's though.

shouldn't have any problems as far as rubbing because its lowered.. those are the same height as your stock tires I do believe.

just dont try and do a burnout at tha drag strip. but im sure it was time for that clutch to go anyways:Woot:
