20 inch tires are going to be expensive. Those are some pretty crappy tires compared to a lot of others out there. You get what you pay for when it comes to tires so if you go cheap, you get cheap.

Try Nitto NT555's my buddy has them on his 20's and are a pretty good tire.

I've had those in 18's on my car for over a year and they still look new.Great in the rain and decent traction.

ya man, good info...i didn't plan on buying them...for the back tires at least... how about this plan...

265/35WR20 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 for the back tires
&
255/35WR20 Sumitomo HTRZ II for the front

total cost will be about $700...

is having "less" high performance tires on the front ok... is the 265/255 difference alright also...

sorry 4 the noob questions but i'm kinda new 2 tires

thx 4 ur suggestions

I have 18's with those same tires like lance said good in the rain and decent raction. I'd say get them especially if it's an everyday driver why spend $300+ on tires!

i actually wanted the bf's kdw2s but they weren't available anywhere when i was buying tires...those are probably one of the next cheaper tires out there from what i remember

When I bought my Mustang, it came with these tires. Since then, I have run a set of Kuhmos and I just put on my second set of Sumis.

I run 315's in the back, have 4.10's, and run 380 rwhp. The grip quite well actually and I will keep buying them. Before adding the blower, i used to pull 2.0 60 foot times which is about as good as you will find on a street tire. Hell, there are some guys on this site running DR's that would kill for a 2.0 60 foot.

Now, I think the 20's are nuts. Not my cup of tea. I am no fan of modding a Mustang to make is slower. Those 20's are gonna cripple your Mustang. Traction is gonna suck no matter what tire your use. On a wheel that big, the sidewalls are soo stiff, that it is hard to get them to hook on launch. Also, they litteraly absorb hp with all the added rotational weight. They also kill your brakes. More rotational mass means the brakes have to work harder to stop.

It is your car and your choice, but I would never get 20's on my car....you might as well drag an anchor behind you.

i know this is gonna sound crazy but i'm willing 2 sacrifice speed 4 looks...i don't plan on drag racing or anything so i just want my car 2 look as nice as possible and i've always wanted 20's lol, i respect ur opinion and i should prolly get 18's but damn it i want 20's just so i can say i roll on 20's lol
