I know this has been asked a lot but whats the biggest tire that can be put on this rim^. I got 285's on it which MT suggests but i saw a guy with some billet wheels that looked like 18's but the tires looked a lot wider to me? Might of been the 17x10.5 i guess?
Anyways whats the biggest tire i can put on and be daily driven i heard 295's but is that much of a difference? sorry wrong place for this just realized |

Some tires just look wider. be it they are constructed a bit wider or their tread pattern just gices that allusion of addid width. I wouldn't go less then a 295 on a 18x10. And 315's are the biggest I've seen on these size wheels. |
Yep,a 315/30/18 would probally be the largest tire you could go with.
|
but?
will a 315 still stay in the fender in a 1997 v6? Probly have to flip the shocks? This maybe a stupid question but would it be safe to stick a 315 on a daily driven car? if MT suggests a 285?

It's perfectly safe. You might have to roll your fenders. I'm looking to roll mine soon my 295's a bit sometimes at certain angels.

Prices vary from shop to shop and car to car. That's the one thing I've learned from spending too much time and money at a body shops lol. But expect to pay around $250 or so. And it's not a huge difference just adds a bit of tire to the side protects the rim just a bit more. |
thanks
thanks that was a lot of help cant have these boys around here out doing me :punk:
