Default Almost at the halfway mark....what to do?

Ok, I already am almost halfway to getting the money for my mongoose kit, but now I'm wondering...should I go another route? I'd LOVE cams, but there's only so much I can do. And visual mods...is there something that'd look super nice that I shouldn't go without? Or should I just keep on truckin and make another 2500 more and slap the s/c on?

that all depends on what you wanna do mr.dannyb. personally I would go mongoose kit, but you know my feelings on those lol. A guy here just got his saleen stroked to a 5.1 and it sounds freaking CRAZY. That car is gonna be awesome once it's broken in. He also has stage 2 cams in it. I mean you could do something like that and run nitrous even

Naw, I plan on never having nitrous in my car. I want all power that my car has to be readily available anytime I press the gas. I really dont mind any route, I just wanna know the limits. s/c limits are endless but with cams, there's only so much you can get before heavily modifying the engine

safely???? but everyone says the engine can only handle about420 rwhp and the tranny can handle even less. Sure itll produce the power but...on one dyno run and then it'd poop out

Not safely it wont. You are borderlining problems right there and even though the extra power is nice, id MUCH MUCH MUCH rather play it safe with 400 at the wheels and have a little more peice of mind that my trans isnt going to be destroyed, or that ill vent my block. At that point you are also maxing out your fuel pump and fuel system which could cause another problem or problems.

no it comes with a svt focus pump not a whole new system. kenne bell doesnt give out a pump because a BAP hooked up to a stock pump is good enough

tim has made cars last years with over 430 rwhp on a stock block with cams.

I know, it comes with the svt focus pump. You are exceeding the capabilitys of that pump with 440 rwhp.

i maxed out the focus pump at 408 horses. oh wait im sure if you do the math and convert my horsepower to a manual trans i would be at 420-430 with 12#'s of boost and only 14* of timing.

Danny, if you quit saving right now, Im going to punch you. Get the blower NOW, THEN if you still want cams, great, and if you dont, well, hell, that blower sure looks great under my hood still...I wish I wouldve just bought a blower, not all this other bs stuff.
