Long Time, No Update.....Bullitt Suspension Overhaul

Well, it's been a long time since I posted here. I've been a bit busy, and finally got back to working on the Bullitt's suspension. I was racing Autocross, but realized that I had too many suspension mods to be competitive without building a 500hp beast, which wasn't in the budget. The car handled well, but just didn't have the horsepower to keep up with the cars in Street Modified Class. Racing once a month only was getting kind of old as well, and I was only able to race twice this year because of work and family.

So what do you do? Tear all that suspension out, and start over!!!!!!! I can go drag racing almost every weekend, so let's go!

New Suspension setup, just completed yesterday:

Strange Adjustables all the way around.
Stock Fox GT rear springs, cut for ride height
Maximum Motorsports HD lower control arms (the only carryover from the old)
UPR Pro Double Adjustable Upper Control Arms (pinion angle set to -2)
UPR Spherical Bushings
Granatelli Tubular K Member Kit (A-Arms, coilovers, etc)
150lb Eibach front springs

It's riding on 315/35/17 Hoosier Drag Radials right now, and it HOOKS!!!!! Can't wait to get it to the track and see what she'll run with the 125 shot of nitrous.

Lame. I quit reading after I saw you switched to drag racing...

Hope you've got the rear-end build somewhere in the budget.. Don't see the axles lasting very long when you throw the juice to it on 315's.

This. Hell, it doesn't even take 315s with Hoosiers. Seen a buddy DESTORY a stock 8.8" on his fourth, yes fourth, pass with spray....sad day that was. I've never hated the smell of differential fluid so bad lol.
