shocks and struts...
 

okay so my mustang needs some new socks and struts for it.. its all stock suspension and i highly doubt my parents will get me some lowering springs. so for good shocks and struts for stock what should i go with... i noticed recently a rougher/kinda bouncier ride over rough roads, and i can hear my pass. side going out bad, every little bump i hear it hit..

p.s. i wish i could lower it, but parents own the car until i pay the rest of the three grand off... so i can not lower it, unless i get lucky with my dad, and find a good kit with springs, shocks, and struts for a good price...

How about the FRPP Handling Pack? Includes shocks, struts, springs, and sway bars off the Bullitt and Mach 1. I got mine for $500 shipped, which was cheaper than getting new shocks/struts to match my Eibachs. And to boot, I got better handling w/ the kit, even though the drop was less (3/4" vs. 1.5").

i would like to look into getting something like that.. my parents will most likely go for it.. but i can not find one for the SN95 body style, every where i look (probably not looking hard enough) i can only find the kit for the sn197 cars...

also in my summit racing cataloge i found two sets of shocks and struts for around $225.
one was the KYB AGX five way adjustible for $219.99 and the other are Stange ten way adjustible for $189.99 (but the strange ones seem cheap for a ten way adjustible shock...)

those paired with eibach springs from summit will cost around $550 but i don't know if i want to drop my car that much our drive way is kinda steep looking at it... (but i would like the looks of it)

Your best bet would be the ford racing handling pack for sure. It will lower the car some, and give you better handling, but not so low that the parents will be like wtf did you do to the car. I have seen those full kits selling for as low as $450.

FRPP Bullitt kit sounds like it's going to be your best bet to lower your car, like everyone said. If you just need dampers, get Tokico HP's. They can be found pretty cheap for a set on Ebay, I got my Illuminas off Ebay for $430 shipped. Plus the HPs will be good for new springs if you lower if in the future.

+1 for Ebay, something to really consider. You can find some killer deals for shocks/struts on there. I got my Illuminas for $360 to my door (saw them for $500+ on other websites). I was a little worried about ordering them off of ebay but after hearing good experiences from many ppl (one being 01FR500) I had no worries and saved myself some cash.
