How to lower my car
I bought new Eibach Springs and i need someone to help me lower my car Step by Step because i dont wanna pay 5 Hundred bucks to get it installed.
Thank you. |
firs off you need some spring compressors, you rent them for full price at autozone or checkers and they give you full refund when yer done
its not overly difficult, jack the car up, pull off the wheel, disconnect the strut, you might need to pull off the caliper i cant remember. Use the spring compressors to get the old spring out, then put the new springs in, they are a lot shorter and probably wont need a compressor. it really isnt difficult once you get started it is pretty intuitive. just make sure you get the spring compressors that sit on the outside of the spring, they suck, but the spring compressors that fit IN the spring dont compress it enough |
You do have to take off the caliper.

I may be able to pop down and give you a hand. What kind of tools and location do you have? If you have access to air tools it'll take about an hour, if not it's like 3 hours or more. I don't have all the tools anymore... most but not all.
